About the Event
We are excited to have almost 1,700 players on over 180 teams celebrating Region 84's 50th Anniversary! To celebrate, we are throwing a huge birthday party with the Orange County Soccer Club (OCSC)—our local professional men’s club—at their game on September 27 at the Irvine Great Park.
Registered Region 84 fall season players’ General Admission tickets to the game are FREE (paid for by the Region). Among other activities, players will be invited before the game to parade Olympic-style around the pitch in their fall uniforms to cheering families and friends. Our goal is to get 1,500+ people out there from the Region to celebrate this amazing milestone!
Pre-Game Parade Details
ALL REGION 84 Families should plan to be at the stadium by 6:00 PM (when gates first open). Don't be late and miss the pre-game parade, which will start PROMPTLY at 6:35 PM.
FAQs about the Parade:
- All PLAYERS, COACHES, AND REFEREES can participate in the parade.
- Everyone in the parade must be wearing a R84 uniform top (player jersey, coach shirt, or referee shirt).
- All parade participants should be at the staging area no later than 6:20 PM.
- The parade will start PROMPTLY at 6:35 PM. Do not be late!
- The parade will consist of participants entering the pitch on the side of the staging area and exiting on the other side.
- There is no set order for the parade. Players can march with their team, friends, or siblings. If a player is alone, please find a Board Member or Coach at the staging area to join their group.
- Families and fans can be with their player in the parade staging area, but must cheer from the stands with their free swag (hand fans, foam fingers, temporary tattoos).
- Parents can pick up their players at the Parade Exit area.

Player Experiences (Half-Time & Post-Game)
- Half-Time Scrimmages (6U & 8U): Players who volunteered to be a part of small-sided scrimmages will receive a separate email this evening. We are still looking for more 6U and 8U players! If interested, please email [email protected].
- Post-Game Cross Bar Challenge: Selected participants should have received info via email recently. For questions, please reach out to [email protected].
- Note: If your player was selected for another pre-game Player Experience, please refer to the separate email you receive for show-up information.

- CLEAR BAG POLICY: This is the most important rule to remember. You will be asked to walk back to your car if you bring a large or non-clear bag/purse.
- No outside food or beverages are allowed, except for sealed plastic water bottles. Hydro flasks are NOT allowed.
- OCSC is a CASHLESS stadium. Food trucks will be available.

Parking is FREE for OCSC games! It's best to put "Championship Soccer Stadium" in your GPS.
