AYSO Region 84 (Mission Viejo, CA) is excited to welcome players for the 2026 Fall Core Season! Registration opens on Wednesday, April 1 for all players born between August 1, 2007 and July 31, 2023 (Playground–19U divisions).

About the Fall Core Program

The Fall Core Program serves players from Playground through 19U. Region 84 supports close to 1,850 players on 200 teams each Fall. Every team is led by a registered, age‑appropriate certified volunteer coach. Teams participate in weekly weekend games and weekday practices.

Team placement depends on the number of qualified coaches and field availability. While we do our best to place every player, placement is not guaranteed. If we are unable to place your child on a team, you will receive a full refund of Region fees.

What’s Included With Registration

• Uniform kit (shirt, shorts, socks)
• Age‑appropriate soccer ball
• Free photo package
• Most divisions participate in weekly games and weekday practices
• Playground and Schoolyard programs just do weekend games – no practices

Families provide: soccer cleats, shin guards, and a water bottle.

Volunteer with AYSO!

AYSO is a 100% volunteer‑powered organization. With nearly 2,000 players and 200 teams, Region 84 relies on parents and community members to help make the season possible. All training is provided, and No prior experience is required.

Coach registration is available at the end of the player registration process.
Referee registration opens at the end of May (an email announcement will be sent).

Volunteer Roles

• Coach: Leads practices and games (training provided)
• Referee: Officiates games (training provided)
• Team Parent: Supports communication and team organization

Program Fees & Discounts

All division fees (except Playground) are $200/player, plus the annual $25 AYSO National Player Fee. All Fall players receive a uniform kit (shirt, shorts, socks) and a soccer ball.

The Playground division (children born between August 1, 2022 and July 31, 2023) is $100/player.

Multi‑Child Discount:
3rd player: $75 off
4th player: $100 off
5th+ players: $150 off each

Cancellation Refund Policy

The $25 AYSO National Player Fee and the $3 credit card fee are non‑refundable.
