How to Sign-Up for Regional Referee Class

Register as Volunteer Referee thru Blue Sombrero. http://ayso.bluesombrero.com/region84
- Instructions how to register as an adult volunteer.
  - If you are a new volunteer, you need to set up a Blue Sombrero account and be assigned a new 9 digit Blue Sombrero ID#.
  - If you are a returning volunteer and you already have an 8-digit eAYSO ID #, your existing ID# should stay with you. Blue Sombrero assigns a new number only if it does not recognize you in eAYSO. Please check to be sure you logged in to Blue Sombrero with EXACTLY the same name you used in eAYSO. In other words, if you were James or Timothy or William in eAYSO, Blue Sombrero will not recognize Jim or Tim or Bill. Blue Sombrero will think you are a new user, assign you a new ID, and your AYSO certificates will NOT migrate over from eAYSO. Please login to Blue Sombrero again with your EXACT eAYSO name. Also, you need to e-sign the form and agree to the background check in Blue Sombrero.

- Instructions how to register as a youth volunteer.
  - If you have a youth volunteer trying to sign in, they too must have their own Blue Sombrero ID #. It cannot be the same as yours. The system will not recognize who is who.

Registering for Regional Referee class on AYSO-U
- Log-on to AYSO-U using your Blue Sombrero Account and password https://aysou.org/default.aspx
- Click on My Courses from the top red bar
- Click open Instructor Led Courses (Referee)
- Select Course you wish to enroll and click sessions
- Choose course/place/date and click register (you may have to scroll to find your Mission Viejo Class)
- Register for the Regional Referee Class
