A famous writer once said, "We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give." If this is true, then Ron Denine made a great life. He was one of the most giving people one would come across.

Ron volunteered for AYSO Region 84 for more than **50 years**. He was a great referee, mentor, and a friend to all who passed through the region. He was not only passionate about refereeing, but also about being an integral member of the Mission Viejo Classic crew - doing whatever it takes to support our region's annual tournament. In addition, Ron's other passion was cycling as many of us either saw him on the road or at any given soccer field.

Region 84 would like to keep Ron Denine's memory alive for years to come. His family has set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds of which proceeds will be donated to AYSO Region 84 and a scholarship will be set up in his name. The link is posted below.
